Meat The Farmer

We source our meat from various producers in and around Gauteng and the Freestate. These suppliers produce excellent quality meat products. We have a personal relationship with each supplier and all our meat is traceable and ethically farmed.

Ruan Schutte - Fredilia Butchery since 1964 (Welkom)

Ruan is a third generation butcher. His grandfather Frederik and grandmother Cecilia started the butchery in 1964.
The Schutte's have won numerous national prizes:
1981 and 1982 National winners Kellerprinz braai competition
1994 National winners Meat and Maize council competition
2010 - 2020 The butchery has won the Platinum Cleaver Award for the best butchery in the Freestate for the past 10 years.
They where awarded for hygiene, quality, value for money and service.

The Schutte's are deeply vested in their staff and have built a training facility to empower and educate them and their families on a monthly basis.

Phillip Meyer (Kroonstad)

Single origin beef sourced directly from the farm. Phillip' farming philosophy is to restore the community, regenerate the soil and renew health. Pasture reared goodness in a regenerative way.
